I spent most of the day digging around in Coco’s laptop. Not going to lie. It felt weird af. Like going through someone’s underwear drawer. I did that too, by the way. Looking for clues. I figured if I had something I didn’t want anyone else to see, I’d hide it in there.

While I was doing it, her boyfriend called me. Almost as if he knew what I was doing. We had a long chat. He agrees that nothing was out of the ordinary before Coco disappeared, which makes us think it wasn’t premeditated. We promised to both let the other know the moment something happens.

What more can we do?

Anyway, the laptop...

Seems she was really into water tanks. Or, more precisely, finding dead bodies in water tanks under mysterious circumstances. She’d found dozens of reports from all over the world, and pasted them all into a Word document called ‘CASE STUDIES.’

What the heck was she even planning on doing with that information?

I researched the Elevator Game some more, and found I was wasting my time looking in the water tank on top of our apartment. Our block is only six stories high. Whatever building you use has to be at least ten in order for the game to work. It’s one of the rules.

That made me think.

I accessed Coco’s Internet search history again and looked for terms relating to tall buildings in the surrounding area.

I found a lot. Including ‘Buildings over ten stories in Southampton.’

Wow.

That’s pretty conclusive.
